About Our Partner
Our partner is building an AI native platform that helps companies find, activate and grow their best revenue partnerships.
Their AI product acts as an AI Partner Manager, helping partnership teams identify the right partners, activate relationships and manage the work required to turn partnerships into revenue.
We are a small, fast moving team building a fundamentally different kind of partnerships product. Rather than recreating traditional partnership software with dozens of dashboards and workflows, we're building conversational and agent driven experiences that can understand context, make recommendations and take action on behalf of users.
We're now looking for a Product Manager to join as our first dedicated product hire and help us turn customer and commercial problems into products people use, value and pay for.
The Role
This isn't a traditional Product Manager role centred around maintaining a backlog, writing tickets and managing a roadmap.
You'll work closely with our CEO, CTO, engineers and commercial team to understand our customers, identify the problems worth solving, prototype solutions quickly and own what happens after they ship.
You'll spend time talking directly with customers and prospects, analysing how people are using the product, working alongside engineers on our AI driven experiences and making decisions about where we should invest our limited time and resources.
We ship quickly. Your job isn't simply to help us ship more. It's to help us make sure we're building the right things, learning from what we ship and continuously improving them.
What You'll Do
Own product problems from discovery through adoption. Identify and deeply understand customer problems, turn ambiguity into clear product opportunities, define what success looks like and stay accountable for the outcome after launch.
Get close to customers and the commercial problem. Join customer, prospect and commercial conversations regularly. Understand how partnership teams actually work, where they struggle and what creates enough value for them to change their behaviour or pay for a solution.
Shape our AI and agent experiences. Define how their AI product should behave, including what it asks, recommends and does, how it handles uncertainty and failure, and where human judgement should remain in the loop.
Prototype before we build. Use AI development and prototyping tools such as Lovable and similar tools to turn ideas into testable experiences. You don't need to be a production engineer, but you should be comfortable getting hands on and bringing ideas to life before asking engineering to invest heavily in them.
Make strong prioritisation decisions. We'll always have more opportunities than capacity. You'll use customer insight, commercial impact, product data and technical constraints to decide what deserves attention, what can wait and what we shouldn't build.
Own products beyond launch. Track adoption, engagement, retention and product quality after release. Identify when features aren't performing as expected, understand why and decide whether to iterate, reposition, invest further or stop.
Run meaningful experiments. Turn assumptions into hypotheses, define success measures and design fast ways to learn before committing significant engineering effort.
Partner deeply with Engineering. Work directly with engineers on feasibility, trade offs, data, agent behaviour, tooling and implementation decisions. Bring enough technical curiosity to have productive conversations without needing to be the person writing production code.
Build lightweight product discipline. As our first dedicated Product Manager, you'll help establish how we discover opportunities, prioritise, experiment, measure what we've shipped and learn from customers, without introducing unnecessary process.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with strong product judgement, curiosity and a bias toward action.
You'll likely have experience taking products or meaningful features from an ambiguous problem through discovery, delivery and iteration. You should be able to show not only what you shipped, but why you chose to build it and what happened afterwards.
You should be:
Commercially minded. You understand that good product decisions ultimately create customer and business value. You're comfortable speaking with customers, prospects and commercial teams rather than relying solely on requirements passed to you.
AI fluent and curious. You regularly use AI tools in your work and are comfortable experimenting with LLMs, agents and rapid prototyping tools. Direct experience building AI products is valuable, but curiosity and the ability to learn quickly matter just as much.
Hands on. You don't believe a PM's job ends with a PRD. You're willing to prototype, test assumptions, inspect outputs, analyse behaviour and get into the detail necessary to move the product forward.
Evidence led. You define what success means, look at how customers actually behave and are willing to change your mind when the evidence contradicts your assumptions.
Strong at prioritisation. You can make difficult trade offs and explain why something shouldn't be built just as clearly as why something should.
Comfortable with ambiguity. You don't need every requirement defined before you start. You can turn an unclear customer or business problem into something the team can understand, test and build.
Technically curious. You're comfortable discussing APIs, data, AI behaviour, technical constraints and trade offs with engineers, even if you aren't an engineer yourself.
High ownership. We're a small team. You'll have significant autonomy and responsibility, and you'll be comfortable identifying what needs doing rather than waiting for a backlog.
We'd Especially Love to Hear From You If...
You've worked on AI native, conversational or agent based products; B2B SaaS; marketplaces; partnership technology; sales or revenue tooling.
Experience working in an early stage startup or similarly fast moving environment would also be valuable.
None of these are strict requirements. We're more interested in evidence that you can understand difficult product problems, learn quickly and turn insight into outcomes.
What Success Could Look Like
Within your first few months, we'd expect you to have developed a deep understanding of our customers and partnership workflows, established clear measures for the product areas you own and helped the team make sharper decisions about what we build and why.
You'll have taken at least one meaningful customer problem from discovery through prototype and release, and you'll be actively using customer feedback and product data to improve what we've already shipped.
Most importantly, the team should have greater confidence that we're not simply shipping quickly, but learning quickly and investing in the things that create the most customer and commercial value.
